Northern Rail offers £1 train tickets in Flash Sale

Are you thinking about travelling to cities including Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and York? Whether you are travelling for pleasure or heading to work, residents in Cheshire can grab Northern Rail tickets for just £1 in September and October!

WHEN CAN I PURCHASE £1 TRAIN TICKETS?

From 24th August, Northern Rail released this fantastic money-saving offer as long as you book a single ticket in advance for journeys between 6th September and 22nd October.

If you’re planning a family outing, you can also book children’s single tickets in advance for 50p!

WHERE WILL YOUR £1 TICKET TAKE YOU?

Train stations, including Warrington Bank Quay, Chester, Warrington Central Crewe and Ellesmere Port, are all taking part in the sale.

If you’re travelling from Warrington Central, customers can travel to Wilmslow, Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Oxford Road for just £1.

Customers travelling from Chester train station can travel to destinations, including York, Rochdale, Manchester Victoria, Halifax, Leeds, Macclesfield, Manchester Piccadilly, Warrington Bank Quay and Cheadle Hulme.

However, many train stations are exempt from the £1 tickets, depending on the destination you’re travelling from. It’s important to check this information via the Northern Rail website before you book.

Northern rail stated,

“Those taking advantage of the offer will experience travel on a transformed network as Northern has worked tirelessly during the past 18 months to make significant improvements.”

NORTHERN RAIL IMPROVEMENTS

Northern Rail improvements are in the best interest of their customers; as more individuals begin to travel once again. Improvements include:

• The introduction of 101 new trains
• The completed refurbishment of older trains
• The delivery of millions of pounds worth of improvements at train stations, including the installation of more than 600 ticket machines and improved accessibility features at many locations
